Mandarin House Summer Experience Review!

Summer Camp Kids Share their Experience! - Farewell messages

 Summer is coming to an end, as well as 2012 Summer Camp edition.

This year, about 100 kids aged between 7 and 16 years from all over the world joined Mandarin House Summer Camp and shared an unforgettable adventure in a safe, fun, full immersion environment, getting to know more about Chinese life through Mandarin lessons, cultural workshops, activities and excursions.

Some of them left a final message to share with everybody their experience at Mandarin House!

- I most liked the friendly teachers and friends. I also liked laughing in class. Gilliam is funny, Veronica likes making up new sentences, Anna likes being silly and Alexandra is unintelligent. FUN! - LAURA

- The first day I came to Mandarin house I was kind of scared, because I couldn’t speak a word in Chinese. But after three weeks, I have learned so many things. 妈妈:你学英语学得怎么样?
Māma : Nǐ xué yīngyǔ xué de zěnmeyàng ?
Mother: How are your English studies?

孩子:太难了!
Háizi : Tài nán le !
Kid: English is too difficult.

妈妈:你平时要多学习。师傅领进门,修行在个人。
Māma : Nǐ píngshí yào duō xuéxí, shīfu lǐng jìn mén, xiūxíng zài gèrén.
Mother: You have too learn hard. The teacher opens the door, but you have to enter by yourself.

Mandarin House Review - 11th International Seminar of Teaching Chinese Language Convention


Mandarin House participated at 11th "International Seminar of Teaching Chinese Language Convention”

Sponsored by HanBan, Xi'an Department of Education and Xi'an International Studies University, the 11th "International Seminar of Teaching Chinese Language Convention" opened on 2012.8.16.
The main topic was “Innovation and Development: International Chinese language teacher`s training and development.”  Over 500 educators attended the workshop on strengthening Chinese programs. This included 许嘉璐Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the 9th & 10th National People's Congress ,许琳 National office director, Director-General of Hanban, 朱静芝 Shan`xi provincial vice-governor, and President of Mandarin House, 卞佳Jasmine Bian attend the opening ceremony.

What kind of Chinese teachers do overseas countries need?

Some Chinese teaching experts talked about the best ways and new trends for training, evaluation, knowledge, ability and quality.

Upcoming HSK Test Dates at Mandarin House - Are you ready?

As you may know, Mandarin House is now a registered HSK testing centre, so take a look to the next exam dates and come to Mandarin House to take it!


Mandarin House will host its first HSK exam as a registered testing centre next September 8th. We encourage our students to take it as it is an invaluable tool to improve one's career progression chances.





The school offers as special class curriculum to prepare for the test, from the intensive group class HSK 35, to private tutoring focusing on getting ready to achieve the best results.

October 21     (Levels 1-6)   Beijing & Shanghai

Once again: World Language Provider Star Award Nominee!


Once again since 2008, Mandarin House is pleased to announce we have once again been nominated for Study Travel Magazine's Star Award for the 'World Language Provider' category.

We are a former winner in 2009 and this year is the 5th year in a row we have been nominated. We are proud as no other Chinese language school have even been nominated before.
